Tex Mex Cranberry Salsa

1 cup water
12 oz fresh/frozen cranberries
1 tsp dried cilantro
1 green onion, white and green sliced
1 cup sugar
2 tbl chopped canned jalapenos
1 tsp lime juice

Combine water and sugar in medium saucepan.  Bring to boil over medium heat.  Add cranberries and return to a boil  Gently boil for 10 minutes without stirring.  Pour into medium glass or plastic mixing bowl.  Gently stir in remaining ingredients.  Place plastic wrap directly on salsa.  Cool to room tempetature and refrigerate.  Best if serve at room temperature.
